Captain Matt Trombley of 3rd Alarm Charters has been fishing in the beautiful waters of Lake Champlain for more than 30 years and brings the knowledge he's gained over the years to each and every client. He holds a United States Coast Guard 100-ton Master Captain's License and a New York State Guide License. Captain Matt is a 30-year veteran of the fire service, having spent 24 years with the City of Burlington, VT Fire Department. He is a Nationally Registered Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, as well as a state and national instructor.

Matt is on the Board of Directors for the Vermont Outdoor Guide Association. He is a Pro-staffer for Daddy Mac Lures, T. Allen Rods, as well as a Field Staffer for Johnson Outdoors representing companies such as Minn Kota, Humminbird and Cannon Downriggers.
