Early Spring brings us fantastic in-shore fishing. Brown Trout will be our main target, but Kings , Steelhead, Lake Trout and Walleye will be occasionally caught. The warming waters of Oswego River keep these fish very close to shore, making very short runs out to the fishing grounds.

Salmon Fishing

Get ready to wrap up your summer with some intense salmon fishing with the help of Captain Matt at 3rd Alarm Charters. We set off from Wright's Landing Marina in the harbor of Oswego, NY for some of the best king and coho salmon fishing the season has to offer. The Port of Oswego lies at the mouth of the Oswego River and is the 2nd largest tributary to Lake Ontario. Due to the draw of the Oswego River, the largest number of migrating salmon come here year after year.

Our tours are during the months of August and September and we promise line-screaming action that will leave you and your company breathless. Most of our trips target chinook (king) and coho salmon, but brown trout, steelhead, and lake trout may also be caught. You may even get lucky and land yourself a new trophy!

Customers over the age of 16 planning a fishing trip for Lake Ontario will need a New York Fishing License.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

3rd Alarm Charters reserves the right to cancel any scheduled trip and/or make changes to trips as deemed necessary. You can contact Captain Matt at any time to cancel your reservation, however your deposit is nonrefundable within 7 days of your scheduled trip. We fish rain or shine. Occasionally, due to an unforeseen situation and/or safety concerns, we may communicate and cancel a trip. If this happens (and it’s rare it does) we will attempt to re-book with you on a date that is agreeable to parties involved.

3rd Alarm Charters and its employees are not responsible for any loss, damage or injury sustained to participants or personal property during any of our offered trips.
